It is difficult

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

It is difficult to answer about why a couple would like to marry, if they can live together even otherwise. But marriages are considered a proper union world wide in most of the cultures and religions.

If one looks at a married couple, one can plot a graph of happiness in marriage and the years of married life. With most of the couples, one may find that the happiness decreases as the years pass. There may be many reasons for this, and every study will bring out newer results. Let us think about how a married couple can have a marriage of hearts that will have happiness forever like we find in fiction books.

How does one define marriage of hearts? One way of saying would be that both the partners are very emotionally attached to each other. They care not for themselves, but for their partner. Their thoughts become one, their views become one and they live with each other in all the senses. There are no compromises. Look around yourself and you will find the neighborhood full of marriages where compromise is a way of life. What true joy can a marriage full of compromises can give?

True togetherness comes with the marriage of hearts.

How To Get Credit Card Debt Relief Exiciting Debt Relief Program by service
in Finance (submitted 2009-07-19)

If you are looking for credit card debt relief, chances are you have a large amount of credit card debt or you are having trouble making your monthly payments. Maybe even both! But don’t worry, there are options that can help.

There are a few choices for debt relief out there. There’s debt consolidation, debt settlement and finally bankruptcy. Consolidation will put all your bills into one payment and lower your interest rate and sometimes you get a consolidation loan that pays off all your unsecured debts and then you pay the loan off. Bankruptcy should be your last option, since it destroys your credit ( the other options just hurt it) and you most likely will still have to pay the whole balance back. It’s very hard to get a chapter 7 and wipe your debt away completely. Debt settlement will hurt you credit, but it will allow you to cut your debts dramatically, usually 50% or more.

With debt settlement, you make monthly payments that are way lower than you are paying currently. If you add up all your total monlthly minimum payments for all you unsecured debts, you can drop that down 60% or more. This will free up your cash flow each month and allow you to start putting some money away in savings. For example, if you have $910 dollars in total monthly minimum payments, you could expect to pay around $300 a month

We’re helping build links across North Lincolnshire [Edition 2]

0 Comments | Grimsby Telegraph, Jul 29, 2010

THE first annual general meeting of the Community Buildings Network Volunteers, who are involved in running village halls, and other community buildings, revealed the group is expanding and developing a Community Buildings Network across North Lincolnshire.

The idea behind this comes from similar forums that have been operating successfully in the East Riding for a number of years.

They provide a whole range of support for the management committees of these halls and give an opportunity to exchange information, discuss issues, share ideas and even equipment.

They also arrange presentations on relevant subjects like energy conservation and funding.

Currently the network members are collating information in order to look at negotiating more favourable energy and insurance deals for the network members through common purchasing.

Now volunteers in North Lincolnshire are looking to realise the same benefits for their halls and community centres.

The first annual general meeting of the North Lincolnshire Network is taking place at Grange Farm Community Centre, Wesley Road, Scunthorpe on August 11 at 7pm.

Anyone who is involved in this kind of activity is welcome to come along, get involved and see how your community building can benefit.

Get involved If you cannot come to the meeting but would still like to become involved just give Celia Wangler a call on 01652 633297 and she will include you on the mailing list for future meetings and events.

The Winchester f lat that grew into a [pounds sterling]1.8m house

Sometimes it is a smart move to divide a grand house into flats. In other cases it is best to unite all the assorted parts for a much more valuable whole, and this is what Jill and Andy Tyler-Smith have done in Winchester, Hampshire, by buying four flats over 11 years in a 200-year-old former clergyman’s house in the popular St Cross area.

Now they are selling the four-storey house, called Bishop’s Sparkford, either in its entirety or as three separate flats.

The couple, who share the house with their four daughters, two dogs, 14 guinea pigs and six tenants (four hospital doctors and two French marine engineers), spent [pounds sterling]690,000 buying all the flats and then tens of thousands of pounds refurbishing them.

‘It’s certainly worth more as a whole,’ says George Burnand, partner of Strutt & Parker’s Winchester office, which is selling the house. ‘These period houses are hugely popular with families moving from London who see Winchester as a stepping stone to the country and are attracted by the great state and private schools. St Cross has a very villagey atmosphere.’ The entire house is on the market for [pounds sterling]1.8million. The main bulk of the building – used by the Tyler-Smiths as their family home – may be sold separately for [pounds sterling]1.1million; and the two flats – which bring in a total rent of [pounds sterling]25,000 a year – could be sold separately for [pounds sterling]700,000, although the tenants will not necessarily be staying.

‘We bought the two-bedroom ground-floor flat and the basement in 1998 for [pounds sterling]240,000,’ says Jill, 44, of the Grade II listed building which had been split into flats in the Fifties after half a century as a hotel.

‘The basement was used as a beautician’s salon, but we turned it into another flat and let that immediately. Later on my parents moved in with us and lived there, but I always wanted the upstairs of the house. There was a wonderful landing that could be used as a dining hall.’ It was on their wedding day in the summer of 2001 that the two flats above suddenly came up for sale.

‘We had a marquee in the garden and when we were getting ready, Sam, who lived on the top floor, said he was going to sell and asked if we wanted to buy it,’ says Jill, who met Andy when they were sparring partners at a local boxing club. ‘Then later on in the day, our other neighbour said she was selling, too, but we had no money for a deposit and our bank said it would not give us a mortgage.’ The top-floor flat with four bedrooms was for sale for [pounds sterling]200,000 and the first-floor apartment with two bedrooms for [pounds sterling]250,000.

Luckily the couple eventually found a broker who arranged a 100 per cent buy-to-let loan for the whole lot.

With no money to convert the flats back into a house, and income needed to pay the new loans, Jill and Andy let them.

‘We had four hippies in one flat and four boys in another,’ says Jill, a former chef and chambermaid. ‘This has always been a working house and for a while we did bedand-breakfast here and were very busy with tourists and cyclists.’ Four years ago, with the basement and top floor let to long-term tenants, the couple took the plunge and transformed the ground and first floors into a large family home.

Ceilings and walls were torn down, windows that had been bricked up to avoid window tax were reinstated, and a swimming pool was created in the garden.

‘We did a lot of the labouring work ourselves and found all sorts of things,’ says Andy, 39, who runs Colourworks, a printing firm, started with a grant from the Prince’s Trust, which now employs 40 staff

I suggest you

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

I suggest you just stick with a pinch.

Now, to get rid of the pain in some other part of your body, all you need to do is place your anesthetized hand there and imagine that this feeling of numbness is spreading or transferring from your hand into that part of your body until all pain is gone. Alternatively, you could create a feeling of numbness directly on any part of your body where you would like to get rid of pain, by imagining that part of your body being numb, anesthetized or using an imagery of an ice cube.

The next method of managing pain involves breathing through that part of your body where you are experiencing pain.

After years of fiddling

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

After years of fiddling with allopathic medicine to ease back pain, scientists have now found that nature comes to help – again.

Researchers including Joel Gagnier, ND, of Canada?s Provincial Medical Centre in Windsor, Ontario reviewed 10 studies with a total of 1,567 adults suffering from acute, sub acute or chronic lumber pain. Gagnier and colleagues confirmed the studies? methods and results, and put out their findings in The Cochrane Library.

What They Found

Devil?s claw

The analysis showed that daily oral administration of 50 or 100 milligrams of devil?s claw appeared to reduce back pain more than placebos, which are nothing but sugar pills given to a group in place of the real medication to figure out if the effect observed is due to the power of suggestion or the actual effect of the medicine.

White willow bark

Daily oral doses of 120 or 240 milligrams of white willow bark?s active ingredient, salicin also appeared to have a positive effect on back pain.

Cayenne

Tested as a plaster applied to the skin, it, too, had a seemingly encouraging effect on back pain. These plasters equaled ? but did not surpass ? results for a homeopathic gel.

Study Quality

Gagnier and colleagues call the evidence for devil?s claw ?strong? as compared to ?moderate? for white willow bark and cayenne plasters.

The review, however, expresses concern about the quality of some studies.

As the child develops,

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

As the child develops, potential health risks may be prevented through early awareness and lifestyle management. How this may impact cardiovascular disease and Type II Diabetes rates will likely require many years to measure.

Of course, all of these recommendations should be factored in with education and support for improved lifestyle and diet. Given the pressures of youth, it is important to not stigmatize a child and foster eating problems and poor self-image where the body mass problems may have been associated more simply with poor, and uneducated, dietary choices and insufficient physical activity.
